The most confusing season of growth is when gratitude and restlessness exist at the same time.
Iām living in that strange āYes, ANDā¦ā chapter right now.
Yes, Iām proud of the career and life Iāve built.
AND⦠I feel a deeper pull toward something more fulfilling, more expansive, more me.
Yes, I have so much to be grateful for.
AND⦠I know Iām not done evolving yet.
A few weeks ago, that realization hit me like a wave I didnāt see coming - panic attacks, anxiety, overwhelm, a profound level of sadness.
When your body finally catches up with what your heart has quietly known, it can feel like everything is unraveling.
And for a moment, I made the mistake so many of us make:
I tried to project my internal fear onto the safest thing in my life, my relationship.
Thankfully, love held firm. ā¤ļø
And in that messy, beautiful undoing, I learned something important:
Discomfort isnāt a red flag. Sometimes, itās a green light.
Despite every fiber of my Type A being resisting it:
Iām no longer rushing to fix it.
Iām sitting with it.
Investing in myself.
In my friendships.
And trusting the next version of my life to reveal itself in its own time.
Because real growth doesnāt always feel like fireworks or big wins.
Sometimes, it feels like letting go of who you were - even when she was successful - to make space for who youāre becoming.
If youāre in your own āYes, ANDā¦ā era right now, youāre not lost.
Youāre expanding.
Expansion feels uncomfortable because itās stretching you into spaces your old life couldnāt hold.
Stay with it.
Youāre building a life that actually fits.
